Tips to stay healthy

Health is one of the essential needs in our lives that we can’t live without. Health can be described as having a good body appearance, well-functioning organs without having any diseases or disorders. However, some people neglect their health by having bad lifestyle habits.

As a pharmacist, I am advising people to have healthy lifestyle habits. In addition, I am advising them to perform a monthly examination in the nearest hospital or clinic to make sure that the readings of the tests are correct and within the ideal rate that is conducted through blood analysis and makes sure that they are in good health.

And here are some tips to stay healthy:

  • Stick to an organized and healthy sleeping schedule by not drinking coffee before bedtime, keeping the electronic devices away and turning off all of the surrounded lights during bedtime and keeping a consistent sleeping schedule 
  • Having a healthy and appropriate diet and reducing fast-food consumption. 
  • Put a schedule for exercises for example 3 days per a week 
  • Try to avoid stress which increases anxiety and disturbances.  
  • Get an adequate amount of vitamin D and other vitamins that boost your immunity.
  • Always have good hygiene and proper personal hygiene. In addition, keep all of the surrounding area clean to avoid any kind of infections and diseases. 
  • Avoid alcohol and smoking.
  • Keep yourself hydrated by drinking enough amounts of water and fluids. 1.5 liters per day is preferable.
